  5. ClipMate is designed to enhance the native capability of the
  6. Windows clipboard.  From a functional standpoint, the Windows
  7. Clipboard works exactly as it should: allowing the user to
  8. transfer an item of data within an application, or between
  9. applications. In practice, however, the Clipboard falls short
  10. because it can only hold one item of data at a time. When you
  11. perform a CUT or COPY, the clipboard is emptied and your new
  12. piece of data is now the sole occupant of the clipboard.  There
  13. is no ability to append new data onto the existing clipboard
  14. data, no UNDO capability, and no long-term memory.  That's where
  15. ClipMate steps in!

  20. 1. Safe and Recyclable Lists.  Configurable lists allow you to
  21. have data that is saved for long-term use, and data that is
  22. transient and saved for a limited time.  ClipMate can be
  23. configured to hold hundreds of data items.

  25. 2. PowerPaste Feature.  Allows you to quickly paste a series of
  26. items, by simply performing repetitive pastes.  Just copy each
  27. individual data item, activate PowerPaste, go to the target
  28. application, and paste each item.  As users paste ClipMate will
  29. keep updating the clipboard.

  31. 3. Support for Popular Applications such as WordPerfect and
  32. Microsoft products among many others.  ClipMate's new
  33. Application Profile is smart enough to choose the data formats
  34. that you want, leaving the rest behind.  This greatly speeds the
  35. copying process, and reduces the amount of memory and resources
  36. consumed.  ClipMate will, in most cases, build the Application
  37. Profile with no intervention from you, although it's easy for
  38. you to override the settings if you need to.

  40. 4. Support for Bitmaps with 16 Million Colors.  ClipMate 3.0
  41. supports 16 and 24-bit video drivers that handle up to 16
  42. million colors, so that you can view your color images in
  43. ClipMate at full size, or as
  44. thumbnails.

  46. 5. User-Friendly.  A variety of convenience features are
  47. included with ClipMate 3.0, such as "sticky icon" which makes
  48. the iconified ClipMate "stick" where you've left it on your
  49. computer desktop.  This and much more make ClipMate a must have
